We have been asked loads of times how we make our Felted Sheepskins and its really one of those processes that you need to see to understand. So we are really pleased to announce new dates offering one day workshops. You can learn how to make your very own lovely Felted Sheepskin to take home with you. The course will be held at our studio on our farm in Devon, near Launceston.
The course will be very informal but here are some of the things we can talk about whilst making and some of the details:

Sheep (always up for sheep chat)

Fleece selection (what’s hot and what’s not)

Fleece preparation (prepare /prepare /prepare)

Felting (getting to the point)

Washing (got to be done)

Finishing (to brush or not to brush – the all important final touches!)

One day course (10 – 4pmish)

Class size 2 max (but you can bring a friend to help if you like as its quite hard work!)

All materials provided (we have a selction of beautiful fleece for you to choose from)

Tea/Coffee & Biscuits (bring own lunch)

(You will need to dry and finish your rug at home – we will teach you how to do this )
